We are looking for a Construction Engineer to manage and coordinate site activities for our subcontracting works, primarily interlock, kerbstone, and concrete works. The candidate must be capable of handling multiple sites, coordinating with main contractors, and managing manpower efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the main contractor to ensure a continuous work front area is available
- Coordinate with the main contractor for material supply, delivery, and unloading on site
- On a monthly basis, highlight completed work areas, prepare measurement details, and obtain sign-off from the main contractor’s representative
- Follow up with the main contractor for monthly payment certificates
- Manage multiple construction sites simultaneously
- Assign daily manpower as per site requirements and work priorities
- Supervise and manage foremen, drivers, and site labour
- Read and interpret construction drawings accurately
- Handle and resolve labour-related issues on site
- Submit regular progress reports to upper management
- Work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 2–5 years of site experience in UAE (subcontractor experience preferred)
- Strong experience in interlock, kerbstone, and concrete works
- Ability to manage manpower and multiple sites effectively
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Valid UAE driving license preferred
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: AED 6,000 – 7,000 (depending on experience)
