Key Responsibilities:
• Handle full accounting cycle: journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, and reconciliations
• Oversee lease contracts, revenue schedules, and payment tracking
• Ensure accurate lease accounting under IFRS
• Maintain and manage books in Zoho Books including modules for receivables, payables, fixed assets, and lease schedules
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management reports
• Perform financial analysis to support leasing decisions and asset management
• File and manage VAT returns and corporate tax filings in compliance with FTA regulations
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
• Create and manage advanced Excel reports, dashboards, and reconciliations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Assist in implementing internal financial controls and process improvements
• Train and oversee junior accountants or finance staff
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA, ACCA, CA Intermediate is a plus)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in the leasing or finance sector
• Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations
• Familiarity with IFRS
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
