Job Title: Accountant (Automobile Trading/ Imports&Exports
Location: Dubai, UAE — Full-time
About Us
Established trading company in Dubai specialized in Automobile import/export. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team and support accurate financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain full sets of accounting records (AP, AR, GL) and post journal entries
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements and intercompany balances
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports
- Manage VAT filings, reconciliation and compliance with UAE tax regulations
- Process payroll and related statutory contributions (if required)
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, account analysis and accruals
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting and cost control initiatives
- Coordinate with internal/external auditors and prepare schedules for such audits as necessary.
- Ensure internal controls and finance process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA/ACCA/CMA or UAE-recognized accounting qualification preferred
- 5 to 10 years accounting experience, preferably in trading/import-export or FMCG
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and local compliance requirements
- Proficient in ERP/accounting systems (Zoho,Tally, with advanced Excel skills specifically)
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Good English communication skills.
