Job Vacancy: Accountant
(MEP / Electro-Mechanical Contracting Company)
We are looking to hire a qualified Accountant to join our Electro-Mechanical Contracting Company.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience, preferably in MEP or Construction Contracting companies.
• Strong knowledge of project / contract accounting.
• Experience in handling suppliers, subcontractors, and project costing.
• Ability to prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
• Knowledge of VAT regulations and VAT return filing.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems).
• Strong skills in MS Excel.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain daily accounting entries and financial records.
• Monitor project expenses, revenues, and budgets.
• Prepare payment certificates, invoices, and reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Coordinate with project managers and site engineers.
• Assist in audit preparation and financial reviews.
