We are a growing construction company looking to hire a highly precise, fast-learning Accountant who can independently manage daily accounting operations with accuracy and discipline.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations including invoicing, receipts, payments, journal entries, and petty cash.
Ensure timely and accurate posting of all accounting entries.
Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile customer, supplier, and intercompany accounts.
Record, verify, and reconcile VAT and tax-related transactions and assist in VAT return preparation.
Prepare daily financial reports and support monthly Profit & Loss statements.
Maintain proper books of accounts, supporting documents, and organized financial records ready for audit.
Assist management with financial reviews, audits, and reporting as required.
Ensure full compliance with company policies, internal controls, and UAE regulations.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience in a similar role (construction experience is a strong advantage).
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Good understanding of UAE VAT and tax regulations.
Extremely detail-oriented, accurate, and organized.
Fast learner with the ability to understand systems and workflows quickly.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Remuneration & Benefits
Salary: AED 4,000 – 4,500 (based on experience and current package).
Benefits: As per UAE Labour Law, including annual leave and end-of-service benefits
